POL Error Recent Update

I just updated a few minutes ago and i kept getting this as i launch the POL Viewer...i was wondering if theres a cure to this and if anyone else has experienced this...

Maybe try a file check have have it re-update whatever file that is?

Go to C:/Program Files/PlayOnline/SquareEnix/PlayOnlineViewer
Delete:
patch.cfg
patch2.cfg
patch.rst
patch.var

Then restart POL viewer.

That should restart the file check and see if any of your files are corrupted and automatically update them if so.

It doesnt even launch to begin with...and i deleted those anyway...no go...i guess i am going to have to reinstall then -_-; Bah wth...

That's really weird. Maybe POL.exe or one of the other critical files was corrupted when you downloaded? Reinstalling POL sounds like a reasonable (if mildly time-consuming) plan.

Hey, yeah, I had this problem too. As I uninstall Pol and reinstall it, I can't get the original Pol update to download due to a Pol-1155 error. If it means anything, and I think it does, I can't seem to be able to remove my "Launcher", from windower, file from the PlayonlineViewer folder, even after I uninstall it.

I can confirm that Launcher was messing it up. You might want to look into it Lionx, if you use windower anyway. Or if anyone ever gets a 1155 problem again.

EDIT: What is this? Who removed the auto-join edit thing?

EDIT2: Fucking damn it. The error returned after it finally stopped showing up. I hate you god, I hate you. I hate you so much.

EDIT3: Any Cablevision users on this forum, perhaps near or in New Jersey? Apparently they block some vital ports(25 and 80) for pol.
