NIN/36 Equip what to use?

hello everyone i know that many ppl ask this question over and over again, but as you can see we always have new ppl working at the job and im one of those :wasted: so my question is what gear to use at lvl 36 i do not have a list of the equip that im using right now but i would like to get advice from veteran ninjas. ok that's it thank you.:thumbsup:

I am assuming you are going to tank as NIN/WAR.

How is your budget? It is easy to list the ideal gear you can use, which is usually expensive, or require time and effort to hunt the rare/ex items.

I am not going to list the ideal gear. Instead, I would say which kind of gear I think that can help you~

First, try to make your shadows last as long time as possible. My suggestion is start with evasion+ gear that you can afford, supplement with AGI+ gear if you are not able to get enough evasion+ gear. The goal is to preserve shadows. The amount of evasion you needed is situational:
1. Is the mob slow hitting or fast hitting?
2. Does the mob have high or low accuracy on you?
3. In general, a slowed/paralyzed/blinded mob would need less evasion gear.
4. If your are slowed or have evasion down effect on you, you would want more evasion gear.

Second, try to hold hate from the mob, to fullfill the role of a tank:
1. If your take damage often, then you may lost hate often.
2. Higher damage output from the NIN helps holding hate. (ACC+, STR+, ATK+)
3. If there is a "good" THF helps hate control, you have an option to use more evasion gear.

As for a NIN tank, because the most critical actions (casting ninjitsu) can be interrupted, your 1st priority is know what your are doing and your timing. Try to use the gear that can help you to perform your task. Do not expect the gear will automatically perform the task for you.

I like Aeolus' list, but I'd add:

- Juji Shuriken
- Federation Tekko/Ochiudo's Kote/Horomusha Kote (only Federation Kote is affordable)
- Horn Ring +1 x2 (macrod in for tossing Juji Shuriken)
- Republic Subligar
- High Breath Mantle
- Evasion Earring (if you can afford it--I can't)
- Dorado Sushi (ok, that's food, not equipment)

Juji Shuriken and some range accuracy gear can be very helpful for damage output; I think it's well worth the gil, but other may disagree.

Can't believe I forgot Hand equipment and the mantle lol. /slap me. Evasion earring is dropping in price atm so should be a viable earpiece for most now. On my server at least :P
