Good luck is all I can say!

Myself, Iv only ever seen Jack once in all my life and I have camped him many times (lured by the potential profit)

And that once I saw him was on a pass through the zone, a newb was fighting it and when I stopped to chuck a Cure I asked him how long he had camped it for. He didnt even know it was an NM.

I believe the drop rate is about 5% also.

Honestly, you could seriously sit for days with out the drop of this item, and you could farm a pretty decent amount of gil in that time spent waiting for it to pop.

A lot of time NM camping for items to sell don't pan out. You could spend hours upon hours camping a mob, it pops and somebody else gets it, or it pops and you don't get the drop. So you could have just spent 2 to 8 hours and have made no profit. So weight the time against the gil earned. Would you rather make some gil or spend countless hours trying to get that one expensive item?

I spent a lot of time when i first started to try and get jack, like I mentioned. Now I just keep an eye out for him when Im in the area, maybe one day I'll get lucky!

yea, all day yesterday killing rabbits and surrounding mobs, didn't see him ONCE... :(

i'm convinced he doesn't exist lol j/k I was there for like 8 hours

Popping him is easy, getting the drop isn't.

I'm about 0/35 or so on him. An ex-ls mate is at about 0/220+ or so

I can't pop him, been killing everything in sight and nothing. (maybe others are finding him before me, but I swear no-one is hardly around when I'm doing it)

Is there a special place where he's more likely to pop? Like in front of the outpost, maybe next to a certain mountain, etc...I'm desperate :wtf:

He typically shows in H-9 by the ridge on the east side, but he can pop as far west as the outpost

For me, he popped right in the road, in the middle of the outpost and mountains
