Even with /BST you don't get control of your pets with Virelai. If you are BRD/BST just use Charm. It works just as well.

Correction: Charm works better than Virelai if you're BRD/BST. :P

Just to add, Virelai's duration is very brief even with an HQ instrument. You'll never hold a mob more than 30 or 40 seconds.

So even if you could use BST commands with it, it would come uncharmed pretty fast. That's another reason why the charm from /BST would be more effective.

Vierlai's more useful for holding adds in alliance activity, then sleeping them - lather, rinse repeat. But since a lot of mobs around endgame zones are either not charmable, highly resistant to it or too weak to worry about, it generally doesn't see much use.

You're absolutely correct. Bad wording on my part. Thanks Ice. ^^

Kitten is right. The duration is painfully short. It's basically an extra 'sleep' if you run out of lullabies. It's still not that useful, though I have used it quite a bit when doing Rostrum Pump runs. It's fabulous for adds there.

it is a last resort for bard when your out of lullabys and someone in your pt died, if you can charm it you have better chances of charming it as bard then /bst because you can charm alot of mobs that you can't with /bst
