Rares? (i'm Back)

For those of you that remember me sup. For those of u that dont, hi! Back to the original question. In FFXI are there items dropped off of monsters that are rare? Like if anyone plays everquest online adventures you know how monters drop magic items. Do you know if theres i s a program like that (i know about the normal item setup). Thx! Items may have one or both of the following attributes:

RARE:
You may only possess a single copy of the item

EX:
This item may not be sold, traded (except to NPCs for quests), or placed in the Auction House, but may be dropped (destroyed). Multiples are allowed.

Certain monsters may drop special weapons/items for questws and what not, but they're all still under the same system. There are no unique (only 1 player may own in server) weapons/items as of current.

i remember you. you made some sweet remixes (battke theme remix is my fav) but what i ment is are there items that give attributes like lets say a ring that give 5 to strength?

Yeah.
Rings can give everything from attributes (STR, VIT, etc), stats (HIt Rate, Evasion, HP (#/%), MP, etc), elemental resistances (Earth, Fire, etc.), and HP/MP translations (20HP -> 20MP, etc)

Can you have armors that give other magic additons? how bout weps?

there's items that give + status and bonus effects. food, armors, weapons, accesories, etc
