When should i replace these boots??

If you have a lot of money you could get Mountain Gaiters (http://ffxi.somepage.com/itemdb/7044) @ 38 or Fuma Kyahan (http://ffxi.somepage.com/itemdb/2662) @ 39. I don't see a ton of great options in place of Bounding boots until then, and I would only get those if you got a lot of gil. (I would get Mountain Gaiters over Fuma)

I didn't have Bounding/Leaping boots, nor did I spend the money on the above options b/c I am cheap and I used Federation Kyahan a long time :P

Fuma are not worth getting at 39. Haste only becomes good when you stack a whole lot of it. At 39, you can't. Sure, you could buy them and only macro them in when casting utsusemi, if you feel that paying a million gil is worth winning a pitiful 1.5 second on your timer.

At 54, you can turn in your bounding boots for your AF boots and at 63 with Arhats feet.

Question seens as you are talking about the same feet, for sam would Leaping > Fuma?

if ur taru or any race that has nice feet armor...

leaping boots > taru rse > nin af > arhats/taru rse2 > fuma (only if u have other haste items to stack. fuma alone is a waste of space imo)

Then again u should be able to get the W turban for dirt cheap now, an a swift belt by then. thats +12% haste. thats 8% less then cap..

yea when you can get other haste items, fuma is good. but at 39, having just that 3% is kinda pointless if you ask me. you can get some str in that spot or some other stat boost.

like anything in this game, 1 peice alone probably wont do much but.... when coupled with other pieces... they all add up to be a nice boost.

with swift belt, fuma, turban and nin af body, you got a nice haste boost!
