i was just wondering, if like u pay for a month for ffxi...and the next month u decides not to pay...will your account be erase?? how long do they keep your account before it's erase?

I think its like everquest. When you buy the game, it gives u a serial number that u log in to make an account. Once you do that, you have to buy cards or pay online to continue ur account. You keep your accound even if you do not pay, but its inactive until you do

That is incorrect, according to the cancel guide in the POL viewer, it says that if you cancel your account (or it becomes inactive), you have 3 months to revive it before ALL DATA IS ERASED. After 3 months, if you come back, you get a blank account.

So you can suspend/deactivate/cancel your account for up to a maximum of 3 months before you lose all your characters and data.
