hey, what about magic difference???
how big are they??

lets say lvl 25 hum black mage vs lvl 25 tar black mage

what is the dmg difference of a same spell??

i think the taru would do more dmg cus they got more INT. The diference jus depends on the INT of each race the higher INT the stronger.

Tarus definitely have more Int than Elvaans that I can tell for sure. Int i a sure factor in damage/healing calculations of magic

INT effects damage/healing calculations.

Ok whats the real one, I think I go with Kei on this one, but thats from intuition and previous gaming experience, not in FFXI. So which one is true?

Actually it is like this,

MND determine your magic Def, your status effect resist, and also the power of healing.

INT determine the magic damage, and some other things I can't remember.

To calculate healing magic, there are also a couple factor involve.
1. your MND
2. target VIT(you, or your friend)

The higher the MND, or VIT, the more your healing magic gonna heal HP.

I keep hearing Int affects Healing spell power.. but I would believe that a level 60 White Mage knows what they are talking about.

So can SOMEONE please put the confusion to rest?

Int also effects the damage of some elemental WS like Red Lotus or Freezing Bite.
