MAB from rings? o_O

h'okay... so all the lv 74 rings (snow, flame, breeze, soil, etc...) are made from the SAME ore that is used to make the Elemental Staves. Unfortunately, :wasted: i'm not wealthy enough to spend the money to test my theory here, so i'm asking if anyone would test or has tested this to see if they add the same magic attack bonus that the staves add

Ex: Jupiter's Staff + 2x Thunder rings - Burst II
Jupiter's Staff + 2x Snow rings - Burst II

see if the thunder rings provide more dmg

I theorized this before and asked one of my BLM friends to test it. He didnt do like a 300mob test but probably like 10 or so. The results of the test showed it didnt affect it. Of course, with such a small test, this cant be taken as conclusive evidence.

The rings do not provide any MAB whatsoever. They've been tested repeatedly for precisely the reasons given.

Would be interesting if the same theory held true for elemental rings.....on the other hand, I would be expected from every end-game linkshell to purchase all 8 pairs of rings and I would end up getting charged out the ass, so I'm kinda glad intelligence is limited to the snow/aquilo's rings. (And yes, aquilo's rings do exist!) :p

I'm glad they don't. I don't want to waste 3 mil per ring for 6 pairs of ring total for my elemental nukes.
