Bastok Mission 1, Dangruf Wadi geological survey

Eek. This might sound pretty rubbish as it's the first mission but...

I've been running all over Dangruf Wadi for ages, waiting for something to the acidity tester given to me by Cid. However it remains blue, no matter where I go. Is there somewhere in particular I have to find, or just a certain amount of time I have to stay in the area?

Can you recall while running around seeing a geyser spurt every now and then?

Stand on, clsoe to it and whala you should get a message telling you paper has changed colour, then jsut go back to bastok and talk to CID.

There are geysers in Drangruf, all you need to do it stand on them to get the tester to change color.

Ok thanks for that. Will have another go once the maintenance is done. Course it would help if I could find the geysers first!

When you enter Dangruf Wadi from South Gusta, stick to the right-hand wall. Very quickly (after 3 or 4 turns) you'll see a geyser in an small open area. Go up the geyser and stand DIRECTLY on top of it, and wait for it to erupt and lift you to the ledge. (This causes no dmg, and you can just walk back off the ledge to get out of the Wadi.)
Once the geyser lifts you up to the ledge, you'll see a message saying that your Acidity Tester changed colors. Once that happens, head back to Bastok to finish this mission.
