Another 2-3 question.

The dreaded mission,2-3.
You hear shouts all the time,people calling for help.
My question is can I just "Jump" in and help at anytime?

Or do I have to flag the quest again? I am currently rank 4.

I'm going to main tank it saturday and I wanna make sure

Go for it. If you've beaten the mission before (i.e. rank 3+) or if you're on the same mission in the same area, then you can help.

Anyway, in general for missions, if you are on or past a mission yourself then you can help others with it.

This is true for most missions, but some of the later city missions are restricted to citizens of that city (all of the ones that are arena fights, basically).

Also, due to the split nature of Mission 2-3, if you have not completed the first "leg" of the mission, you cannot participate in the arena fight. You also cannot participate even if you've finished the first leg, but your remaining BC fight is in another region. For instance, a Windurstian who has finished the Bastok section will need to do his arena fight for 2-3 in Horlais Peak. If you are a Bastokan who has completed the San d'Orian branch first, then you can NOT assist since your arena fight will be at Balgas' Dais until you've attained Rank 3 yourself.
