But what about when you start your character. Can't you keep recreating your character untill you are assigned to the correct one?

you could do that... but you won't ever get on certian servers.

Some servers you absolutely have to have a WP to get on.

but the easiest way to do it is... Buy a world pass.

You can have as many people in a Linkshell as you want.. the only problem is you can only have 60 people on the linkshell channel at a time. So in other words, you can't talk to more than 60 people at once.

The whole thing on deleting your character and re-creating to see if you get on a different server has been fixed by Square so you can't do it anymore. The only way you can make sure everyone gets on the same server is for you to be the first one getting the game, make tons of money, then buy world passes for every individual person that you want to invite. It's a pretty big problem if you all start out at the same time, though, because then your friends will have to wait for you to get enough money to buy them the WP, and making money at low level is really slow. There's also another way of doing it chain-like:

-The leader, let's call him #1, gets on the chosen server (or any server) and buys a WP, if it only can work for 1 person for NA (like it is now for JP version) then he brings #2 only.

#1 and #2 work towards making more money and eventually have money for a WP each, they make #3 and #4 come with them

#1 to 4 are now working to have money and can buy 4 passes for 8 members total

The only thing wrong with this is you need a week (7 days!!!) between each time, making guy #9 and the rest wait a much longer time than the rest, unless they are lucky enough to get on the same server with luck.


I just hope it won't be limited to 1 person for each WP for the NA version before some time (like 2-3 months) so clans can establish themselves more than just 1 or 2 members to start with.

The best way would be if it would be 5 max per week to start with like it used to be:

#1 buys WPs and brings #2 to #6 with him and the next week they can have 30+ people, normally that should be the whole clan, if not then it would only be a week longer until they can have up to 150+ members on. I hope it works this way to begin with myself...
