It is that annoying message, Thank you SquareEnix.

Apparently they did a piss poor job with the installation program, it does not copy the installation files to a temporary directory and run it off of there during the installation.

What happens is your main install program is on disk 1, and the remaining data is on disk 2. There are three ways to solve this problem, I have only tested one.

The first solution is (tested): is if you have two CD Drives, put disk 1 in one drive, and disk 2 in the other drive. Run the install on disk 1, then it will AUTOMATICALLY (it should) go to the other drive for disk 2. It will find the disk 2 data AND it will be able to read the MSI installation file on disk 1. This should bypass your problem.

The SECOND solution (untested), is to copy the first disk to a directory and execute the install file from the HD and put the second CD in the CD Drive. Or you can do the reverse, but I do not think that works.

The THIRD solution (untested), is to copy both disk on to the HD in to one directory. If there are similar files, just replace them. Only cdicon1.ico and autorun.inf are the same on both disks and they are unimportant.

If you have two drives, then the solution is easy; otherwise, you will need to try installing from HD and see if it works.
