As a monk what should i do in the begining of the game so that i can get out of the forrest and stop just killing rabbits.... I have had the game about 2 days and played roughly bout 2 hours because i have been so busy... At your level your best bet is to just keep killing rarabs until you're strong enough to move on. That's just the way the game works. Once you get a few more levels you'll be able to move deeper into Ronfaure, and take on Goblins, Orcs, Sheep, Crabs and other mobs in the zone.
Some basic tips would be picking up some Meat Jerky (you can buy it from an NPC in North Sandoria at the Inn) and eating that to help with your attack damage. You might also want to pick up some Cesti at the weapon shop in South Sandoria. Those should last you until level 10 or so.

Hmm, where to start...
1. The 3 rabbit skin thing you're doing is a "quest" not a "mission". This is important later on when you start asking questions about either of these.
2. Without a subjob and capped combat skills yet, it'll be slow going for awhile on MNK. There's not really a way around this, you won't be dropping larger prey with any regularity til you get the fundamentals on your character. Later on, when you can sub something with a healing ability, and have capped evasion and better armor from levelling monk, you'll blaze through other melee jobs like nothing in that same newbie area.
3. Your first mission in San D'Oria is obtained by talking to any of those friendly knights at the gate exiting town near the R.K. or T.K. knight. If you talk to him and he starts mentioning missions or gives you a cutscene, you're in the right spot. (If you've killed an Orc and it dropped an axe for you, save this for that mission). There are 3 missions before you hit rank 2.
4. While you're killing nice little things around the newbie area, you'll want to save the following items:
bat wings
mushrooms (all kinds)
Sheep parts (mostly the skins, you can usually sell the meat to NPCs)
Rabbit furs
Anything dropped by Orcs and Goblins, like spells, armor, or goblin-only armors.
Crystals
Crystals
More crystals
You can sell any of the above in a stack of 12 on the Auction house for big bucks which you can then use at the 'conveniently marked on your map' armor shop in Southern San D'oria for better equipment. (The weapon shop is next door).
5. To stack an item, use the item menu at the upper right, and hit the Sort > Auto commands that appear when you open that menu. Anything with a 1 near it will automatically and conveniently stack for you.
6. You did turn in your adventurer coupon for the first 50 gil, right? If not, go do that, you got the coupon as soon as your character entered the game.
7. Avail yourself of Effen's Monk FAQ 1.06 (http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/monk/41609-effens-monk-faq-1-06-a.html) It's not a perfect guide, but it'll get you started on MNK.
8. Under no circumstances ever beg another player for money/armor/items/powerlevelling. Especially not since you play on "Diabolos" server. I play on "Diabolos", and if I catch you acting like that I fully intend to follow you around town for as long as it takes spamming the /slap emote til you come to your senses.
Hope this helps you out.
