I play FFXI with my friends.But my work is very busy at the present timeļ¼ I have no
much time to play together with them. So the level of my character in the game is more
lower than my friends. A lot of places where they can go I can't go(because I often
die,lol). So in my little time of play game, I could not enjoy the fun which play game
together with my friends . Therefore I want to find a company which offers game services. I
don't have the experience about this, hoping everyone give me a good introduction,thanks
very much.

well, in order to receive the least amount of satisfaction from this game, you'll have to reach around level 30. This can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to god knows how long. If you really don't have any time at all to play this game, then you should look toward another game: one that doesn't require as much time as FFXI.

Exchanging real money for in-game items and services is against the game's terms of service, and advertising or promoting those services is against the forum rules, so anyone who helped you on this would be asking for a ban.
If you're having trouble keeping up with your friends' jobs, just ask them to level a second job that they can keep the same level as you, so you'll always be able to play those jobs together. If you only advance by being powerleveled or buying gil, you're never going to develop any skills as a player. A high leveled, expensively equipped character in the hands of someone who hasn't learned the job is going to be just as useless in your friends' events as a poor, low level character, so you'd just be paying to lose.

oh wow, this is fun. RMT and powerleveling companies are trying to post on the board to advertise their services covertly. Awsome.

I had an interesting experience with this today. Was on the ferry doing my usual fishing routine and a BLM in full AF walks out of the door with me. Phantom has popped on deck, and I make a habit of destroying this pile of dirty laundry whether I want the scroll or not. BLM draws his staff and stands there for several seconds, during which time I politely wait and watch... after about 5 seconds, I figure he's attacking the pugil next to the Phantom, so I start my Banish III. Since I managed to finish the casting, I decided the BLM was locked onto the pugil, and finish off a Banish II to kill the banshee before I notice the BLM has put his staff away and is standing over me.
Nothing drops, I put out a /say of: "nada", and go on with my fishing routine from the stairs. As I'm fishing, BLM runs up behind me and strikes up a conversation. Apparently, this guy has just returned from WoW, and forgotten how to auto-attack things or cast spells. He just recently remembered how to send a tell. Guy has the NA release version, (didn't ask whether PC or PS2, so only has original game and RoZ). He's asking how to get to Bibiki Bay so he can level up, because he's heard it's great exp. :rolleyes:
Yeah, he was fun to sort out again. Friends don't let friends return to the game without a re-education seminar in the nearest newbie zone.
Also, andylau123? Um, enjoy your trip to Banislovakia, but you can't say we didn't try to warn you...

So I checked the IP addresses and surprise, surprise, the OP and the guy that posted the advertisement are at the exact same IP address. Hilarity.
Nonetheless, I'll wait til they actually break the rules before banning them.

Does this kind of thing actually work for them? I mean, asking a question just to plant an RMT ad seems pretty lame to me.
Then again it might work on sites like Alla. :P
I don't think Alla has anything against these kind of services. They might even be their own service, who knows.

And it's not like 'either' (read: this one guy) has any other reason to post here other then advertising this site. I know you guys like to be cautious with the ban stick, but this topic kinda just screams 'Ban Me'.

The original post was on the dark side of the grey area. I've seen real honest hopeless newbs make similar posts, so I decided to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. The response with the site links in it was, obviously, bannable.

oh, well ok then. I didn't even notice their user titles, last thing I saw was one of the mods sayin they would wait till they did somethin bad.
That's certainly why I love this site, the mods don't waste any time takin care of busniess. Maybe they should be the ones enforcing the ToS of this game. =P

Oh. Yeah. When I said "I'll wait til they actually break the rules before banning them." I meant in the future if they try anything silly like this. I'd already made the bans at that point. I interpreted Luhn's post as saying the OP was so transparent they should've just been banned immediately, but I'd rather not do that in case the aforementioned real, honest hopeless newb comes along.

Out of curiosity, what type of marketing is this? I was thinking false marketing but that doesn't really seem to fit. Is there such a thing as false response marketing?
Edit: Just wanted to add that the title is catching. Was just gonna respond "Yes?" to the title, but subtile humor like that is usually lost in forums.
HAHAHAHA.....I think when I am puttering around at my inlaws palce I am going to go into his woodshop and make me a banstick!!! any suggestions on what it should look like??

I'd consider this more a form of viral marketing. It's a method used to market goods and services without looking like it's marketing goods and services. It's somethin commonly found in Youtube vids and such as seen in the form of false news reports or fake 'homemade' films.

Really funny when you think about it. Never really thought RMT had to go covert and play it up to get business. Figured it was like drugs, it sells itself.
I do wonder if Alla bans you if you post url's for any site other than IGE.

i know a REALLY good company to power level your character, the website is quitFFXI.com... /sigh if you dont have time to play now when u get someone to power level you what makes you think u'll have time to play then, my suggestion would be just to pick up another mmo that doesn't take as much time...or it doesn't have to be a mmo, just pick up a rpg
Now that we know its a spammed ad, can the thread be closed and the ISP be bannified?
