i want to know what the average party invites are for a thief?
Sub-par, at most. However, as you get to the higher levels, thfs are wanted more and more because of how effective they are in tp-burn parties.

Yeah, it all depends on the level. Invites in the Dunes pre-15 are pretty much non-existant as THF doesn't offer any nice abilities. I soloed to 15 on my Thief.
After 30, it gets better as NIN tanks are popular and the bad ones NEED a THF's SATA to hold hate.
I ended up tanking in the Dunes as THF15/WAR7. I'd start out with a SA then voke to grab hate. If voke was down and SA was up, I'd slap one down to grab hate. It was great fun.

I think that's the only way that I actually got to LV 68.
Wouldn't of been had I waited on someone to be like "Wow...no more melees...hrm....guess we can invite that galka thief who's LFGing /sigh"
Once you get to 30, Ninjas will want you, if they know what's good for them.
After 60, you become a whole lot more effective in keeping hate.
Thief overall is a good party selection. We have the potential to fill up alot of slots when there are none for DD in lowelevels (not necessarily a perfect emulation, but THF/MNK isn't bad for DD). People just slightly overlook our usefulness.

I have had 1 pt in the last 5 days of seeking...... @71 thf
I work while I seek so I actually get my work done faster when I don't get a pt lol. I have tried to make pts here and there but no main healer no pt, no refresher no pt, and I have run into 2 whm that will not pt with pld, when there are no nin free. (/sigh)

Sometimes it sucks and sometimes it doesn't. Level 56 @ like 3k tnl waiting to use my SH I didn't get an invite for like 2 weeks >.>
Nowadays it usually doesn't take long, maybe some days you can't get one. I hate starting parties, but the other day there were like 6 thfs my range seeking and a friend and I started a thf burn. We used 3 thfs, 1 nin, 1 brd, and a rdm. In caedarva, started @ like 5k per 30 min but slowed down after that because it got more crowded. I'd say 7-8k per hour? Not horrid. Finding people to join that can be hard though, I explained what we were attempting to set up, since no one else had ever had one before. I did get declined by a nin who refused to try it, you know, god forbid someone does something that isn't cookie-cutter in this game. orz

Thfs are my number 1 skill chain partners in parties. Somebody has to pull and do a good job, thfs do it pretty well. I hardly party with another melee unless its a tp burn or something else.
