Naming characters

Forgive me if you've covered this before...I checked the FAQ and didn't see anything.

What is the restriction on character names? How long can they be and can they contain characters like ' and - ? What about spaces? Can you have a first and last name to start?

All I know is...you can't have name of characters in Squaresoft games....i.e. Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall...and unfortunately Laguna :(

As far as restrictions...

-No Numbers
-Only one capital letter, and it can only be the first letter
-No special characters like: ( ) " - $ #, etc...
-There is a maximum, but i can't remember what it was.

Not sure if there are last names.

don't forget the NA release could change any or all of the naming restrictions =)
