I think he meant $10 dollars as the starting price and not the buyout price. Hence he would expect a lot more than $10.

Ys, i think he meant 10$ as the starting bid. But little does he realize, hes not going to get very many bids, because there is no way of telling that it works, or securing the trade so he doesnt run off with ur 10 dollars before u get the game.

Raiku, you should do this on something like ebay, i beleive the 2 FFXI that i saw there were going for 19.75, or around that.

The question that needs to be asked is. HAVE YOU installed the game, and played it?

IF SO!!! you need to supply the buyer with:

1. Your playonline user ID

2. Your Password.

3. Your POL Email addy

4. Your Email Pass.

5. ALL PAPERS that came with game. (CD Keys, et al.)

6. You will need to continue Paying for the game THROUGH the end of the month you seel it, so said person can go in and change the billing information.


SO Buyer beware. If ALL the information is not supplied, or if it supplied and does not work, do not pay for it. because once the CD key is used, you can ONLY use it with the same POL ID.

My suggestion is. Pay for HALF agreed upon price, when goods arrive, Install, and try passwords ect. If it doesn't work, demand your money back, and send the seller his worthless to you game back.

yes it beeen used and install, i deleted my account and all the buyer need to do is register the cd-key under her/her name and she set to log on within her own customize way.

The CD Key is good but . There are 4 other things that are of equal value.
Play Online ID to login
Play Online Password to login
Play Online E-mail and password which can be used to reset your password in case you forget it.
CD-KEY for adding content IDs.

all of that is deleted, only the cd key is valid which is needed to creat those...

Well then you have absolutely nothing of value. You can't delete that information. You can only forget that information. CD key is USELESS unless you have that information. I hope no one actully sends you money for it. They will be getting absolutely nothing. I'll pay you 5 dollars for the CDs. Thats my offer =) And that's the most you will ever get.

No, thats not all you have to do. I actually have a copy for sale. Im not looking for much, just need to get this damn thing off my hands before i try to install it again. I still have both account and password and its 100% working. I have it up on ign (here (http://boards.ign.com/message.asp?topic=37504829&start=37549578) . Sorry to disapoint you Raiku but if anyone tried to use that CD key they would get an error message that it is an incorrect key or that it has been used. CD keys can only be used ONCE to make a play online ID. Otherwise you could just keep making IDs over and over. The CD key is needed to make additional CONTENT IDs yes. Not to make additional play online IDs.

I have an idea. Why not go re-post it on ebay again. Then when you send someone just a used CD key thats useless they can take it up with you. Or actully since you are only 14 or 15 I bet its your parents account since you can't enter into a legal contract. Then they can take legal action against your parents to get their money back. I bet you won't be playing many games after that. I'd suggest you either find the needed information or stop trying to sell a used CD key.

Guys the CD key can only be used once but once it is used it is assigned an account number and password therefore if the erased or forgot the ID and password then the game he has is worth nothing. To me this sounds like a scam because Raiku is not providing you with anything else, how about you take some pics of your FFXI so you can convince us just a little bit more...untill he provides more info I would suggest you guys stay away from this.
