Ok I am BLM58 so feel free to /slap me accross the abck of the head for not knowing this.. but I am aware the DoT spells (shock, burn etc.) have a pattern they can be used, like so I can use 3 at once.. Could someone please tell me which ones can be used at the same times and which ones cancel eachother out.. thankyou ^^

Burn, shock choke can be used in any order and won't cancel out.

The same goes for frost, rasp and drown.

You wanna know how to spot when they start canceling out? Take a look at the elemental wheel. Some elements are obvious. Here's the way I remember a few:

Fire melts ice. That would mean that burn cancels frost.

Water takes out fire. That would mean drown cancels burn.

Ice chills wind. So frost would cancel out choke.

If you casted those in reverse order, the second one wouldn't stick at all.

Personal note: I usually go for Frost/Rasp/Drown. Makes the melees happy.
