What Summons can you get and how?

Could someone list which summons are currently available, how to get them and if you can get them without the expansion or not.

So far I've only heard of these obtainable, but there are probably more:

Water elemental
Carbuncle
Wind elemental
Dragonfly

By "Dragonfly" if you mean Mayfly Familiar, that is one of the new Beast Summon by a beasttamer. :sweat:

wind elemental hunt~ yugudo orcale in OZ
quite tough if ur main job is low level
orcale usually has random spirit with it

ice elemental hunt~ zvahl i believe
demon sorcerer ? something like that

wind elemental = 3mp per sec drain
very bad for low level
however: maybe for a chance
when you level it gets better not sure though

i have a little question..

to get the wind earth ect elemental do you have to be summoner as your main job? or sub job?

and..

do you have to just kill it? or does it drop an item similar to leech?

and last..

is it just me or is this add-on thing making players aggressive? (and maybe sometimes a little stupid)

maybe i'm just saying that because i dont have summoner item yet:( ...........and that since everyone is either exploring or doing new job quests i cant even lv up to 65:mad: (i spent 10 hours doing LV cap 3 for nothing)

Wind elemental etc is Summoner Magic (like WHM/BLM magic, you gotta be job to learn it), and it is a dropped item.

I agree on the lvling up, I can't find any PTs to get to 60 :( (56 at time)

3: Aggressive? Heh, I guess when you wanna get (for example) the leech item a lot, you're gonna get stressed, like my friend who spent 32 hours non-stop getting it. He was annoyed at me cos I got it in 5 goes, lol.
Everybody wants the new jobs, and it's gonna take some unlucky ppl forever, ^^;. But things will settle soon enough.



My questions:

1: How much are they selling the elemental summons in the Ragnarok Auctions?

2: The Goblin stuff like Goblin Mask, Goblin Armour etc, what's that for? a quest?

New hints that points new information for summons in the game...

The new Elemental Trials offered by various NPCs have started to be offered to players. I myself have gotten the Wind Trial from Agado-Pugado in Rabao Springs. According to people who have cleared the quest, the challenge involves battling a boss, Garuda, in Terrigan. Difficulty is equal to fighting Serkets at Level 55 pt so it doesn't sound easy. Winning it will receive the Summon Spell "Garuda"....

There are lots of Elemental Trials recorded so far but rewards are still unknown for the others as people haven't go around solving them yet.

We followed the path to the top and saw Garuda, floating in the air! She attacked us in a suddent and we are forced to fight her. Garuda is strong, every single hit is deadly. Her special attack took 700 over damage to our knights, almost killed them instantly. But we didn't give up and kept fighting. When her HP falls to 40% and we thought we can win this battle, Garuda used her 2hr ability, Air Burst, inficlting 1300~2000dmg on all of us and killed all of us in a suddent!!! We were sooo freaking excited and cried out loudly.

Ok, so we've figured out basically that u get Carbuncle and you can find/buy some of the elementals.

AGH!! TWO OF MY LS MEMBERS WENT AND GOT SHIVA WITHOUT ME><!!!

All i know about it right now is that it's a quest, you need a LOT (I couldnt get the quest, lol) of quest completes, and you gotta fight Shiva and it's one hell of a hard fight (my friends went with 6 60+ members and one still died)

These quest are received all over Vana Diel from a taru-taru. You definitely need a lot of fame in order to receive a Event Item to open the gates of the Huge Crystal at specific locations.

All the high-level summons have to be obtained by challenging it to a fight. They are highly difficult and needs a fair amount of strategy and preparations before fighting them.

The summons that are available in the game are:

Shiva is very nice looking a Ghostly woman who kinda floats in mid air. Sorry no Screen shots the summoner immediately unsummoned it as soon as she saw someone taking an interest in it.
