So I started Corsair a few days ago, and I really like the job. For some reason the idea of cards and chance, and the risk is just so much more fun to me then Bard. So I have my first two die, and I'm extremely excited to get to 10 for my first party. But I have a huge problem...

Chayaya in Al Zanbi has been missing for about a week now... and he's the only source of the Ranger Dice...;.; As you all know already that is super important, there's no way a party would let me slide not having this one, I just know it. 1,300 is a wonderful price for me right now aswell, since I'm in the process of leveling Ninja and leveling Alchemy. So I can't just be throwing money around like it's nothing.

I know what you're going to say, "Go check the Auction House, it'll be there." Well I did... and it is... 4 to be exact. But they're all selling for 10,000g each! I even tried going up to 3,000 because that was my absolute limit and still no luck.

Now I know you're probably thinking, "Go free the npc yourself you lazy bones!" Thought of that too... I don't even know how to do that... and I asked my boyfriend and he said I'd have to be at least 70 to stand a chance at something like that... And everyone in our 6 person Linkshell is 50 or lower. (Three of us 50, one 44, and the other two just approaching their 30s)

So what else is there for me to do...?

That's really a tough one. Unfortunately, if you can't go and rescue the NPC yourself, your only option is to hold off on COR for a bit, or suck up the AH prices and make the gil back later on when the NPC returns (that's what I'd do). It's frustrating, but at least it's not an impossible situation.

You have want coooorsair dice? Qiqirin NPC in Nashmau have some! I no knooow if he have Hunter's Die fooor suuure, but he has much pre-40 dice and accept clink-clink.

Ooootherwise, yooooo must pay the 10,000 clink-clink at Al'Zhabbi AH oor wait until tarunapped Tarutaru returns. More than worth, yes, but not sooo bad.

For the record, the dice NPC in Nashmau does not have RNG dice.

Chayaya has all the dice for the original 11 jobs (WAR MNK THF RDM BLM WHM, PLD DRK RNG BST BRD). Jajaroon has the dice for the expansion jobs (NIN DRK SAM SMN, COR BLU PUP).
