Loooong install for expansion!

I installed last night and it took me 70~75 mins for PS2. Disc install onto the HDD alone took around 45 mins. Additional 25~30 min was for on-line version update that you do after HDD install. I have 5M ADSL BTW. IT got too late so I was not able to explore at all.

that's fairly strange, i installed my PC version in less than 10 minutes and downloading the new files took another 10 minutes. i didn't explore the new areas or jobs yet. i was hunting NMs again while everyone was so busying looking for the SMN, DRG, and NIJ, job items.

I'm sure that my PS2 and HDD is no match for your high caliber PC. As for downloading new files, bandwidth and traffic at the time would account for the difference.

my PC isn't very very fast
it's just middle of the road.
anyway, we are in the same SARS infected country... my ISP is PCCW and i'm using their overpriced 3MBps dedicated plans

i installed it around 7pm HK time and it was quite fast. perhaps i had better connection because i installed it before it was released in japan
