Been two years and Both my mother and myself wish to rejoin FFXI but we both want to be on the same server. Could someone be kind enough to give us a world pass?

Use the dedicated thread for this and post on whichever server you wanna join. I can get you a world pass on seraph if you're so inclined. Any other server though, you'll have to post on the other thread.

If Bahamut catches your fancy, I'd be happy to hook you up as well. Just let us know which server you'd prefer, and I'm sure someone from that server would be more than happy to help you out.

Sorry there message forums arn't My strong point. I appologise. We're not picky about which server really. We were on Midguardstormer before. Is there any real differance between servers aside from the sets of players on them?

I've also ran into another problem maybe you folks can help with.. I opened up Play Online and entered my password like usual and it tells me my membername and password are invalid. I tried to reregister with Play Online and now it's even telling me my registration number is invalid. Am I going to have to purchase a brand new version of the software just to get a new registration number?

Yes. If you cancelled your PlayOnline account (something you shouldn't do, because that is a free account), then you have to rebuy the game in order to have valid codes again.

Yeah I never cancelled my PO account just the FFXI ID account but it keeps telling me my username and password are invalid.. My account is staring right at me but it won't let me into it.

Hmm. Not sure what to tell you then. Everything should still be valid in that case (I stopped playing for nearly 7 months, uninstalled everything and all that jazz, came back with no problems).

Hopefully someone else will come along who has another suggestion. :/

You might want to try the Return to Vana'diel program. Technically, your stuff is supposed to be "gone" after 3 months, but if you use the Return to Vana'diel program, you should be able to recover your character. There might be a time limit though, so I'm not really sure if you'll be able to recover it after 2 years. This is if you want to recover your character.

Not really sure why your password is working though =/ You should be able to get past the username and password. Might want to try calling PoL support.

YEah I already checked into the return home program it's long since ended and two years was pretty much waaay out of reach. I'll have to try to call POL's tech support tomorrow.. I wish they'd have somone available on weekends as I work all week..

I just don't want to have to shell out another $50 for two new copies of the game.

Understood. Well, that's the best thing to do. If you ever need a WP to seraph, just tell me.
