compass?

Hello I just picked ranger back up today and i'm trying to learn the sweet spots, and I keep hearing about Compass, now i'm gonna sound like a total newb but... what compass... ?

Or, like I do, some people refer to it as "radar."

better rely on the real distance (what you see on screen) rather than the radar

radar shrink down what you see in the screen into very tiny map
I bet you will have better judgement where you should stand by seeing through the screen than radar

Depending on the perspectives and resolution you use though the real distance you see on screen can varry. Better to use a combination of both to check yourself so you can be more certain of your distance.

Lets also not forget that the radar goes away when you "engage" a mob.

It seems that the range also varies slightly on different weps themselves, the sweet spot for my lvl 25 x-bow i was using was closer than the Zamburak+1 I am using now, took me a moment to realize this after i switched weps.
