Just making a post to say hi, I'm new to FFXI (Bought the game last year played for 2 weeks then got lured by other crappy games) I've recently started playing again and hopefully can get into the game a bit better than I did last time.

Hi there, and welcome. Allow me to be the 1st to say as you hit lvl 10-13 and start up with the parties, lvling can get more fun, and faster. Soloing those 1st 10-13 lvls really blows. Only good thing is you don't have to use auto-translate. Anyways welcome and hope to see some posts from you in the future.

Its been quite good so far, I've met a player called parker who has helped me with some gear and killing in the last few days, my thanks go to him for helping me ease into the game. Hopefully more peeps are as helpful as he has been. How do I use the auto-translate feature anyhoo?? My manual is WAAAAAAY out of date.

Well if you play on PC, then type the 1st few letters of wgat you want to say, and press Tab. A menu will pop up if there are words/phrases in it.

Also keep in mind that your sig will get you warning points. Better change it before a mod sees it.

Actually I've been aware of this signature for several hours. I've just been busy, plus researching whether or not it is, in fact a violation of our forum standards (it is, since it has depiction of nipples).
