Hello.

Currently I use this chart (http://yarrthepirate.com/FFXI/Info/skillcap-chart.gif) when referencing skill caps for any jobs. It's basically a concise version of this data (http://www.ausystem.org/%7Eaushacho/gbox/ff/skill-e.html). It's great but a little outdated. That is, it does not contain the skill caps for any of the 3 new jobs. I plan on updating the slimmer version with skillcaps from new jobs. Unfortunately, I don't know the skillcaps for any of the new jobs.

What I need is blue numbers from the following categories:
Hand-to-Hand
Dagger
Sword
Great Sword
Axe
Great Axe
Scythe
Spear
Katana
Great Katana
Club
Staff
Archery
Marksmanship
Throwing
Guard
Evasion
Shield
Parrying
Divine Magic
Healing Magic
Enhancing Magic
Enfeebling Magic
Elemental Magic
Dark Magic
Singing
Stringed Instrument
Wind Instrument
Ninjutsu
Summoning Magic
Blue Magic

Please also list the levels of your main and sub jobs. Please do not have any gear equipped when you check your numbers, as this can skew the results.

Who I need it from:
-Puppetmasters who are level 61 and up who do not have any merits in the categories they are reporting.

Who I do NOT need it from:
-Puppetmasters who are between level 1 and 60.
-Players who have Puppetmaster as their subjob.

If the category does not appear at all, please DO report that.

Thank you all in advance. :handsdown

Okay, got the chart straightened out. Forgive the poor quality. I'm at work and I reproduced the original from scratch using Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Photo Manager. lol

Yes, let's discourage people from posting information here in our forums. The last thing we want is for people to have information at their fingertips.

Let's send all the traffic somewhere else!

and you had to post that twice Takiri? um, no, you don't win for that.

there is nothing wrong with Dryus posting again with a chart he completed using the information he gained. 'course it would've been better if he'd use search (and found Raydeus' posts) and used those existing threads instead, but...

From what I can tell, wiki's information is wrong. If I am wrong, I encourage you to please reply with screenshots of capped skills. Thank you.

neighbortaru, I did search (I always do) the forums and Google but for whatever reason I did not find the information until after I posted. Someone pointed me to the JP version of one of the sites I referenced because, go figure, the JP version was current and the English one was not.

I'd talked to many people who use Tuathaan's skillcap chart frequently, and they had lamented that it was a bit out of date and didn't include a) new skills such as BLM's scythe; b) corrected skillcaps, so instead of A? or C? we have definitive skills; and c) skillcaps on new jobs. This was one of the driving forces for me to even post. I haven't unlocked any of the new jobs, so it serves no personal interest.

I thought by creating the threads and the chart, I was disseminating the (albeit already known) information in a form which I and many others have found quite handy and easy to read. I apologize if this has caused a problem with some users of your forum.

no problem, but for future reference, one thread is sufficient. ;)

Well, as I said in another thread, these were originally intended to poll the members of the three different forums. I requested information from BLUs in the BLU forum, PUPs in the PUP forum, etc.

If it were anything else, then I'd understand perfectly, and I wouldn't think of posting more than once.

This was not needed.

Double Post Edited:

This also was not needed, very tempting to slap a spam warning here...

Well, I can't say I'm glad to see the thread descend into this. Not that I like seing threads I've created get closed, but can a mod please do so? Thank you, Takiri.
