Check out the US playstation.com site to find out info about the PS2 Linux Kit. Kit includes 40GB HDD, keyboard, mouse Linux software and PS2 broadband modem.

Something to just point out. The HDD is not designed to be used for gamming purposes. The HDD is designed for the Linux use ONLY, just in-case anyone thinks they can a HDD there. The FAQ area even states it, saying that the HDD that comes with the Linux kit is NOT designed for game use.

iIt may mean that u cant use it along with games. u may be able to use it just with games, just not with linux. just an idea :)

Nah it say "Formatted for Linux". The formatted means it has a partition and is setup for the Linux OS, I'm pretty sure the partition for game use will be a different format.

They give you the software so you can choose to format the HDD with Linux or not.
