Need help with starting up the game

For some reason when the game's about to start up it says something like tnl error make sure you have the recommended requirements or something like that. Not only do I have all of the minimum requirements but I have all of the recommended requirements also except for the graphics card. I have a dell dimension desktop 2350 It's kind of old but not very old and the graphics card I have is whatever came with it it might be Intel. Can someone help?

you need a graphics card that has hardware TnL support. virtually all the integrated intel graphics with the preassembled machines (like yours) don't have this. you'll have to buy a new graphics card or run a software emulater called 3danalyze (google it).

Is that illegal? Or would it mess up my computer?

not it's not illegal and I certainly don't think it'll mess up your computer. however, it's performance is not exactly stellar
