About pirates

Just wondering, im getting the game around saturday- tuesday dunno so maybe monday, but when you go on boat and pirates attack, what lvl do you gotta be to survive them and kill them if u dont feel like hiding with the poor lil taru tarus under teh deck? no offense tarus i love you but i mean, your just so dinky, i guess i love short... people... no im not gay either =P

Well, you probably won't even take your first boat ride until around level 20ish.

by then, you can pretty much get through it, because more than liekley you will be in a party

I was in my first pirate attack today. I was level 37, and killing one was relatively easy but the fact that 6 of them spawn on the boat at one time makes the whole thing sort of difficult. Luckily, I was with two other level 37 members, and to boot there were three level 60's on the boat. After the six were dead, six more spawned in two sets of three. All three of us level 37ers would have died if the level 60 Paladin wasn't there curing us. TT

Oh yeah, and I took my first boat right at level 14 because I was curious about how it looked.

Thansk for the replies cuz i plan on taking my first boat ride as soon as possible, meaning ill try and get an escort from someone kind to the dock if need be, cuz i mean i REALLY love boats and im dying to get on and just incase, i want to be ready to attack a pirate in teh future to defend any noobs i take under my wing, even tho there probly wont be any, im porlby the last to get the jap version =( ohwell atleast tis commin with vision of jiratt!

Beware of the Sea Horror, it's a evil NM fish thing. Even those level 60's would hide and cry if it came.

i refer Lv 30 or above would be safe...cuz if all those things attack u...u won't survive...stay below deck if u feel like it^-^;

I took the ship when I was somewhere between level 5 and 7 ^^;;; Spent the whole time on deck too, luckily there was a strong party, and no pirates showed up. The hard part was getting from Windhurst to Mhaura (I think?), then having to get to Sand'oria from where I landed, luckily an LS member was able to guide me ^^;
