What's up with our besieged?

When I logged in last night all 3 besieged 'nations' were at 99 and stayed that way through the night and still were this morning.
What's going on? Has the update broken something? Is this just a remora only issue?

I think it's a general problem, not just one connected to Remora as Phoenix was/is the same when I left last night.

I was wondering about that, too. I was hoping I'd get to see my first Beseiged, but nothing ever happened.

Personally I was a little glad.

The beastmen attacked Al Zhabi shortly after the servers went online, and I got on and into Al Zhabi shortly after the undead horde had begun their....ahem...forcible intercourse with our defense's rear ends.

I zone in and NOTHING is loading. Until, finally, a lamia appears.

"Laima No. 9" with two dark elements and an ice element around her.

Now I'm thinking WTF, looking for the other two summoner lamia. Thinking it might flush something htrough my graphics card, I flash number 9.

Next thing I know, I get brutally slaughtered, I mean my HP dropped from 900+ to 0 within one attack round. And the lamia didn't even budge.

So I look at the battle log, it was player names, every single hit had a player name before it.

And then I remember, ONE WORD that made me wonder, when I was reading the update notes.

"Charmga."

Holy freaking shit.

The charmed people weren't loading for me for some reason. I could find plenty of people around the edges of the area, that weren't charmed and loaded just fine. But charmed people wouldn't show up for me, nor could I target them.

We tried erasing the charmed people, I couldn't get the funciton to go through. Erase canont be cast on this person. A rdm tried dispelling, I dont' think his went through either. Some brave assed whitemage tried curing them. No effect. I don't even think it gave them HP.

After about two minutes of running around /shouting across the zone "WTF do we do about this, half our people are asleep and the other half are charmed," and nobody anywhere being able to locate a general, I finally got sick of it and escaped my happy ass to la theine platueau.

Maybe they've put in code so that it won't do Beseiged within a certain amount of time after a maintenance?

Yeah, people were trying it anyway, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

I couldn't get myself invted to a party of charmed people to try it that way, though. Too much lag to effectively communicate "Drop one of your members and invite me and I will fix you."

Oh great, Remora's performance in besieged has been dire recently, if they've made it even harder we'll never have the candescence.

lamaie have a charmga tp move, some of them love to use it, others don't.

lamia #9 is a summoner. astral flow is a gaurantee wipe, and if you're lucky to live through that her elemental pets -ga at that time will clean up what is left behind.
