ffxi advice

for the mods: i know this is a bit off topic but i need advice from people who play ffxi, not all the people who wish they play over in the ffxi talk forum, so please let it go

some of you may know me on the ragnarok server, i use the same name as my forum name, anyway, im trying to decide if i want to drop the game or not, its between this and pso, i stopped playing maybe a month ago when ng split and everybody and their grandmother decided to make their own linkshell, so nobody was really ever on (unless thats changed, has there been a ls most ppl have migrated to since i left?) any way, my japanese isnt very good either, pretty much just enough to get me group, and because of that i dont really have a good time grouping with them, just mindless leveling, so basically i dont enjoy the groups, theres hardly anybody to talk, and to add on to it i came here and saw all the stuff from the expansion pack and i REALLY want to play it but i also dont know if it will be a waste of money, plz give input

and btw, if josie, vivid, or xeu reads this post or someone who knows them plz send me a pm with your aim, i wanna keep in touch if i do decide to quit
