Thinking of coming back...

I havent played this for a while and im thinking of giving it another shot but i see that there is another expansion pack been released and i was wondering, of which i probably know what the answer will be but just to make sure, will i actually need Treasures of Aht Urhgan to come back and carry on playing?

will you need it? no but the new expansion is focused on high lvl /end game mostly so unless you have lvl 70+ char or you want to get the 3 new jobs...you don't need it. Well you can participate in assault mission at lvl 50 minimum, the main thing is you don't need it but from what I experienced did my first besieged yesterday, that was fantastic.
