Today Ramuh lost it's first besieged.. sad day in the history of a Great world...
Only 320 People attended today, Generals Fell left and right... man It's sad after getting a little comfortable with many loses and many {YAWN}'s we lost it and the taru alogn with several prisoners.

The strange thing is there weren't a lot of people on Sunday night or something was going on. We only had 22 people show up for our Dynamis-Beaudicine(tab...tab.. oh gawd, how do you spell it?) run that night.

Were that many people banned? @.@

No, the main problem was (since i was there for the loss) was that people were getting stupid and they were bringing their levle 30 and 40 jobs expecting to get some exp, instead of actually bringing a job that could help kill stuff, that was the main problem because i remember forming up an alliance and i kept getting all these 30's wanting to join and i was all like wtf are you doing on a 40 get a better job. and they were like, oh don't worry we always win i just want some extra exp for my job it'll make me closer to leveling.

If they wanted to make Besiege to where a level 30 could kill a horde of enemies i really think they would have, but since a level 75 can't even take most of these things by themselves (notice i said MOST) what makes ppl think its alright to just bring their lower jobs in, now if they didn't have a higher job i can understand but from my count that day i'd say out of everyone in the zone about 25% of the people were under level 40.

Eh.. I've been bringing my BLM to Besieged lately, and it's only at level 59-60.

It's good practice, even if I get skimped on the EXP/IS.

thats not too bad my SMN and WHM are in the 60's, its the people who bring their 30 and 40 jobs in that get me miffed

A lot of us on Midgardsormr have decided that Besieged isn't even worth the time invested. Takes too long to win, you gain only minimal XP/IS, and frankly it's easier and more fun to win back the Candescence (which nets you 1000 IS right off the bat) than to defend it from a personal standpoint.

That and the stupid amounts of people swarming Bhaflau Thickets and Caedarva Mire slows to a trickle while the Candescence is gone, which is a nice plus.
