Haste cap... anyone have the exact details on what it is, what the mechanics are, and how march + haste + hastega + haste gear plays into it?

really? That high? If you can give me a "definitly over 35%" then I'll definitly be happy. Though I'd still love to know the actual mechanics on it if anyone knows!

Yeah, is up over 35% definate I think. I believe the Mazurka recast capped at 35 seconds.

A WAR that goes to this forum made a topic on BG forums testing this stuff. The numbers were a bit confusing, and I was only skimming it over, but his results showed that you won't really hit the haste cap (or I believe he put it as a minimum delay cap) without the help of soul voice + double march.
In equipment, it's supposedly 25% for cap. Most jobs can't even exceed this easily other than ninja - with use of their JSE earring. (I believe MNK/DRG can hit 30% or 31% in gear, and as far as I can tell, they have the second highest amount of haste gear available.)
Of course, you can go higher than 25% just by using haste and/or march.

how much do haste and march add specificly? Well, Haste more than march as I'm WHM. Or is that something based on enhancing skill? May seem like a silly question, but as I'm generally concerned with being the best I personally can be, I don't typicly look at mechanics - i just level enhancing, and cast haste on people who need it, so I dun know these things XD

I don't know how much march adds, but I believe haste is somewhere between 12.5% to 15%. I don't know if haste gets stronger as you level or not, honestly. I don't believe it does though.

I'm fairly sure the enhancing spells aquaveil, haste, blink, refresh and regen have fixed durations and effects, and the bar- and en- spells, stoneskin and phalanx scale up with your skill. I could be wrong about this(I'm only lvl60 rdm), but the first lot don't seem to get any better.
I don't know the minor caps (from spells, equipments), but I beleive that spells cap at 50% haste, and melee delay is either the same, or higher.

The 50% thing - if I'm reading the test right - is that the recast timer of spells cannot be reduced below 50%.
