Are those movie clips from the pc or Playstation version? Specifically, the "giant" movie clip. I'm thinking they're from the Playstation 2 version. If so, is there a Playstation 2 compatible controller for the PC? Link someone?

Yay, so if I understand correctly, there's a special adapter or module that is supplied by playonline? Anyone can post a pic possibly of an example of how this works "officially", without having to use third party peripherals?

yep, if you have the USB connector the Dual Shock 2 works for FFXI :)

HOW it works, im going to guess just fine, seeing as it would make it the same as if playing FFXI on the PS2, and people seem to enjoy using the controller for that.
