well this hell hole was the only open server with the name i wanted i didnt do to much research on the servers before hand either. its all good though i was on asura so any server besides that one would be a step up i would assume. its all good though. i just miss the fact that i lost my DRG. :( how is the economy on this server? i dont have the CoP or ToA expansions are they a must?

Personally, I've never had much of a problem with Remora. I get by. But I don't have anything to compare it against, either, since I've never been on another server. (Well, Asura for 30 levels or so, but I don't even remember the economy and such and it was a long time ago.)

Though, yeah, pre-2nd-migration Remora kicked ass. Post-2nd-migration Remora doesn't compare at all.

Notice how San d'Oria's conquest results also started improving after all the hobos and dirty feckers from other servers showed up on the second round. Coincidence? I think not! San d'Orians are clearly hobos and dirty feckers. (I have probably brought this up before. Can't remember.)

i choose sany as my home lol..... it was my on asura too i thought it would be familiar thats the only reason why i choose it :) its all good though. i just hope i can enjoy the game play and if you see a lothan running around again pls say hi and shoot the occasional shiza. l8tr pep.

Is it still true that Remora is messed up? I know there was a point when it was really bad but it seems to have settled a lot recently.

Well, to me, the only times it's seemed really horrible were right after the 2nd migration and the recent Christmas inflation debacle. If you only pay attention to Remora, it seems okay, I think. But if you compare it to other servers, it looks pretty bad.

when I was on Asura, Sandy dominated conquest. For the first 6 months since I moved to Remora last year, Sandy was very weak. Since the first of the year, however, Sandy has done much better on conquest.

Last night I was helping the sandy-based linkshell in the attempt to win gustaberg. Sadly, the power supply on my computer went out (it was 5 years old and those things just don't last -- this was the second power supply that the computer had), and all the computer store had were 24-pin versions which just doesn't work with a 20-pin motherboard. So I have no clue whether or not the linkshell was successful because as long I can't use my computer I can't play FFXI.

bastok being first didn't surprise me (my hunch is bastok, windy, sandy; because all those new rmt groups picked sandy as their nation and really drove our good name down). i bet peeps are figuring out they can't vhazl-op warp and altep-op warp this week either. . . the 2 best op warps in the game out of commission due to the overall lack of conquest since ToAU.

Actually, Windy's in last. Sandy has Kuzotz, so y'all get the Altep OP warp, but yeah, no Vahzl or Yhoat for anyone.
