changing US to EU install version

i heard there was a way you could change the US installation to the EU version but i have been unable to find it. i'm stuck and cannot reactivate my account. please help me here

Not that I know of. I was tempted to get the Xbox360 version but seeing as my original account was the NA import I'd be forced to start all over again or get a chipped Xbox 360 to play the NA version if that's at all possible with the Xbox. No idea why such a stupid process is in place.
