Well, do you?

I'll bet you do. I can tell, because you're not bumping two-month-old threads. Plus, who actually reads the Remora Social Lounge?

I surely do. I also like to look in the drg forums just in case I may have missed something.

As tempting as it was to hit the "I close my eyes and click" vote, I went with what I do. The new posts search is just a lot easier.

New Posts and my User Subscriptions. Not much actually in the forums.

Search Tab too.

I almost exclusively browse via the New Posts button. Meanwhile, I sometimes also go and check sticky threads in various subforums. Sometimes.

Oh, I forgot to include search and subscriptions in there. But that would have made the various combinations ungainly for a poll.

I'm pretty much exclusively a New Posts and Search kinda guy. And it's amusing how easily you can tell who does use that link.

I check my subscriptions, and when I'm done with that I head on over to the new posts. I do hate how sometimes there's only like 3 new posts, however, due to whatever self-updates the forum is doing.

I've never bothered to subscribe to anything. Maybe I should?

I have my settings to automatically subscribe to threads I post in.

I like to see what other people have to say on a topic, especially if it's in response to me. :)

I can see all responses to threads whether I've posted in them or not via the New Posts button. So I guess subscribing isn't for me.

The system automatically subscribes you to every thread you post in, then you can also subscribe a thread manualy and put it on a special folder for easy access

I know. I turned that off long ago.

I've been using New Posts for a while, but lately it's been kinda screwy: it no longer allows me to jump into the 2nd, 3rd, etc. page of a thread that I read the first 2-3 pages of before there was a new post on it. I think this may be related to the nested-threaded view at the top of the page now, since it seemed to appear at the same time.

Almost solely New Posts. Funny though, it took me like 6 months of being registered before I started using it. Before that I would just keep refreshing the forum page and look at the now 5 (used to be 10 at one point) newest posts and just check those and the Ranger and Thief forums.
Though checking on here just got more difficult. Suddenly the internet filter at work isn't allowing this site anymore. But all of a sudden its allowing KI. Apparently the IT people think I need more immaturity and drama in my life. So now my time on here is almost solely confined to before and after work. Good thing I have nothing else to do 6 days out of the week.

I hadn't spotted that button until you posted this poll. Very handy! Before that I'd just scroll down the list of forums and see which ones had the 'new posts' icon next to them.

I look in the Remora Social lounge but only when it has new posts, which isn't very often, so that's rarely. I guess it's kind of a vicious circle thing going on.

Yup, new posts only. Makes it easier just to browse the ones that are new.
