I've seen some big (like fullscreen) screenshots and I was wondering if there's a way to get those with the in-game screenshot dealie? (technical term >.>)

Thanks in advance. ^^

It's third party software, usually either FRAPs or Snagit. The built in screen capture software makes the image smaller and brands their copyright information on it.

I've been using Clipper for a few years. It's pretty handy, IMO. Takes nice screenshots in .jpg form, which is all I really need.

Ugh, fraps is a big memory hog on my machine, so maybe I'll check out this Clipper. Thanks bundles. ^^

Fraps only brands their copyright onto videos, not images. I don't know about Clipper, I'll look into that now~.

Edit: Oh, I just checked the folder that I have my Fraps pictures/vdeos in in, 3.0 GB. Heh, I take a ton of screenshots....not sure why. Fraps itself is only 1.8 MB.

Since it seems I'm the only one who uses Snagit I'll weigh in on its behalf. It's a rather useful program that you can use to capture screenshots from video games. My favorite feature is invisible mode which allows it to remain completely hidden while still able to capture screens with the use of a hotkey.

FRAPs never worked for me for some reason, so I had to stick with Snagit. Wasn't that expensive.

Nah, he was talking about the Built-in (Playonline) one, the one that makes images smaller, it also adds SE copyright but I wouldn't mind if images were the same res you are using.

About why the Fraps folder is always so big is because unless you pay for the full product it will only take images in .bmp format which are uncompressed.

Although I like it more that way, image quality is better to work with if you dont have HD space issues.

Oh, ha. Went right over my head. (Just woke up.. O_<)

Anyway, I've no problem with space on my hardrive, and I don't mind. I still have 149GB left on my C drive. XD

I myself woud gladly use the 'Built-In', but the resolution is so small. I often like to put them in photoshop and design wallpapers, or something similar.

It was free three years ago when I got the program. :o I guess they've switched to a for-pay product.

edit> That looks like the one I use. Very simple, no watermark or anything like that on your screenshots. Pretty handy.
