I'm wondering because I have seen this befor but cant find the post on how to be able to type Japanese wile playing i can type it anyother time except when im on ffxi i dont know how to get it to work can anyone help?

1. you need to have IME within FFXI enabled. By using japanese version of the game or 3rd pary plugins if you player other version

2. in control panel, regional & language. You need to set the "default language for non-unicode program" to Japanese as well. Because FFXI is not unicode support.

btw if the GMs catch you typing japanese on a NA copy of the game, they can suspend you.
