sword and shield port

I downloaded VRS for .dat modding but everytime i open it i get this window that has two spaces for text input and im not really sure what im supposed to do.

Did you read the instructions before you downloaded it? The username and password are both 'guest'

Yah I found that...got it open..but now I'm having hard time trying to figure out how to open files with this thing...how do i convert my .dats to a file format VRS will open? I'm been searching for hours in this forum and can't find any help for this.

thats because....it READS the files as .dats ....no need to convert, only a need to back the files up

been slowly figuring out how to do it...part of my problem was for some reason i couldnt use the grumpyrarab site...but now I can.

My next question is...how do I open a weapon so I can try conversion?

open a dat you want to overwrite... then go to the other one that you want to use (add the full path manually in the boxes...I'm assuming youve imported an item before) Than find what the weight is, and give the same weight to the item you want to add in...I know its basic, but I'm hoping you know the rest, and since weapons only have 1 weight you should be okay on that.

I'm actually pretty new at this. So I've never actually successfully imported an item yet.
