STOP LOWERING THE DAMN PRICES
I am as poor as a stump. I officially have 7k. I USED to have 300k worth of mythril sheets on the AH, which I made with all but 30k of my gil. NOW they are worth 280k, not to mention the damn transaction fee from having to resell them because the price goes down ever so slightly, preventing mine from selling.
Don't you dare brief me on farming silk threads or beehive chips. I don't farm them because I don't have 6 hours to waste on my computer for a lousy 20k. I have been trying to sell those sheets for two weeks.
Again, STOP LOWERING THE DAMN PRICES.
Thank you.

I doubt the people who are undercutting you post here. I mean, I feel your pain, and I know this is a rant, but seriously...

I doubt it too, but I really needed to let it out somewhere. However I'm sure if I would have posted at allakhazam it would be very different...(in a bad way).

Haven't checked the price of Mythril Sheets, as I'm not at that current level in Goldsmithing, but how many stacks does that equate to Lilani?
Followup question:
Did you sink all your money into skillup synths all at once and are you now looking to sell them all .. at .. once?

Oh, you can count on that. ^^;
I totally get why some people undercut. What I don't get is why people needlessly undercut. If something is steadily selling, with a relatively constant supply, then what is the point of destroying everyone's profits by undercutting? It makes no sense.

I feel the pain. I use to control the Cockatrice Meat market on Alexander (as in I was the only supplier for a good month). Then one day, I log in to check on my AH items, and the AH is literally flooded with stacks of Cockatrice meat.
Where once I had a solid grip on raising the price of meat to 60k a stack, overnight it dropped to 28k.
I cried a little. Then I remembered that my Giant Bird Feathers were still raking it in.

Ok, ok I'll admit it, it was me, I (all the way from Fenrir) purposedly lowered the price of mythrl sheets just to mess with ya.
I'm sorry. :handsdown

Raydeus, this is in the Fairy forum, if you didn't notice.

That's not at all the situation. I got goldsmithing to 41 a long time ago, and now whenever I am down to 100k-200k I'll spend that gil on making mythril sheets (about 90k-100k to make if I get my materials from the Windurst airship shop). I was down to 240~k and so I made 2 stacks of sheets.
Now I wish to sell those so I can afford ethers and drinks for 2 solo avatar battles, and so I can get on with leveling my RDM.

I'm not on fairy, but I DO feel your pain. One thing I may suggest, is they are selling for 280k now, right? Earn enough money to re-list them for 274,444 gil. No-one ever bids by the 5k markups on items that big, and it will heighten the order of your sales.
Undercutting is a good thing. As long as you don't lower the actual price.

Yeah, I agree with Onion. I always sell say, a 50k item for 49,999 gil. Sometimes 49,990. But either way, I usually get the full amount listed anyway, it's just a simple way to make sure my items sell.
Undercutting frustrates me, too, especially when my inventory, delivery box, and AH is full and all I'm trying to do is sell some crap so I can clear up some space. So I'm with a lot of others in the "feeling your pain" boat.

People around here use the "it's not your server" card all the time as a defense from posts they don't like... is very childish, but don't worry I wont post in your turf anymore. :thumbsup:

And you were more mature by making a pointless joke in the first place? I didn't say I didn't like your post, I'm just saying that you seem more immature by defending your mistake.

You didn't attack me for posting here. I thought his comment was pretty light hearted, really.

Agreed.
Y'know Lilani, I feel your pain quite well. Recently, a month ago probably, some moron decided to undercut the Beehive chip market from 30k to 20k. They were selling quite well at 30k/stack and I was starting to bring in 500k/day avg. income just by killing bees in Rolanberry fields. Never did manage to get it back up to 30k/stack (although they did get it up to 25k, but only very shortly). {/cry}

Dont feel bad Lil, My Nagan has been sent back to me 3 times and it sales for 3 mill, so 30k to just post is getting old. people have under cut it to 1.7 mil now, I am by no means dropping it that low
