Valkurm Dunes, Qufim Island, Yuhtunga Jungle, Yhoator Jungle, Garlaige Citadel, Crawlers Nest...
If you're willing to party in some place other than those areas, and need someone around one of my job levels, I'd love to hear from you.
Edit: And oh, no ninjas allowed. ;)
Note: I'm currently leveling only THF and WAR, but would consider one of my other jobs.
This has been a non-spam message from Tipiro to the population of Ramuh. If you don't play on the Ramuh server, please don't bother responding or sticking your mod-nose in.

hahaha, sorry for sticking my nose in, but it's just quite funny following up on your posts. :)
Seriously though, Ramuh topics need Ramuh people to respond, sorry for sticking my nose in. Glad to see that mods didn't stop you and you didn't give up on your post.

had you posted what you did in your second thread in the first place, it would not have been locked.

At 19 you can fight Beetles in the Champaign, and around level 30 you can fight weapons near the beetle camp. Other than that I doubt you're going to find a better spot in terms of accessibility. You might be able to forego the crawlers in the Nest and find them in Yhoator.

Yeah I know that it's not very clear what he wanted, but he should also not berate or belittle the mods i.e. nt.
Though he did it for trying to get a unconventional party, I didn't know what Unconventional in the title ment either. It's not very clear. Not very clear = close thread.(Yes I understand that theory).
Atleast he was persistant... ok, now NT, let's get our taru butts outta here. No need to bother the Ramuh people anymore :)

At 19, you can fight in:
Gusgen Mines (worms, ghouls, lower end wendigos)
Ordelle's Caves (beetles, bats, rabbits)
Maze of Shakhrami (goblins, ghouls, seeker bats, more...)
Davoi (fighters, cursemakers, serjeants, bats)
Beadeaux (old, copper, brass quadavs)
Castle Oztroja (votaries, theologists, priests)
Sanctuary of Zi'Tah (goblins, bats)
Battalia Downs (birds... might be dangerous with gobs around)
But yes, people flock to Qufim for accessibility and safety, but mainly just because that's where everyone else goes.
Edit:
At 30, you can fight goblins and moblins in Oldton Movalpolos... I mean, holy crap! I didn't even know that zone existed! lol

I wouldn't count on it. Just because they're in the same level range as other mobs at that level it doesn't mean that the mobs there are viable targets for exp. To get a decent rate of exp you also need a fast turnover on your mobs. Moblins especially are pretty hard mobs for their level, Malboros are the same, you'll never want to exp on those just because the amound of trouble they can cause for your party is more than the exp is worth.
Everyone might go to the conventional leveling spots but theirs a reason for it. There are some good spots still available that people don't usually use. Maze of Shakrhami is a favorate of mine that doesn't get used very often and Buburimu has much the same mobs as Valkurm. Valkurm just gets used more often because its closer to 2 of the starting cities.
Tip, if you wanted unconventional, you merely had to ask our beloved LS. We often do things the "Unnormal" way for gits and shiggles. Since we belong to the same LS, just go to the site and ask about setting up an unconventional static or wait for me to get my levels back so I can start organizing weird events for the LS again.

Hey, OP spammer,
Use this link to check camping spots. It's widely used by many people and it's much more trusted source than random shoutings of locations.

Thanks for the info. :) However, I'm not necessarily out for the best experience available. Just something new and exciting.

Will do. :) I haven't been in the LS for what I would consider very long, so I didn't know about your "weird events". They sound fun. :)

I intended a certain degree of ambiguity. Ambiguity <> spam. I'll admit, though, that it was apparently too ambiguous for all intents and purposes.

Then all you need is 5 more people capable of forming a party that don't care about how much exp they get and you're sorted.

That's impossible... all people want is EXP, and hard... fast...

The only thing I was looking for with this thread was to meet a few people who are after the same thing as I am, who I might could add to my friends list. It got a little out of hand, but c'est la vie.

Honestly, think.
Take a long hard thoughtfull moment of your life, right now.
Were you REALLY thinking people would know what you were talking about?
And I hope not to see any more "if you're not from my server, stop posting" crap, discussions are open to all, unless specified by those who designed and thought out the structure of the forum, which until now has not happened.

*cough* Don't make me bring out the popcorn for the show....
For those who are still seeking clarity on what the OP wants:
Seeking 5 other individuals who search for unique experiences while leveling in out-of-the-way places. Levels 18-20 is preferred. Paladin tanks only, please. Ramuh server.
Please send me a PM, reply to this message, or send me a /tell in game.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
P.S. Mods have big noses...

Actually, if he's going to be unconventional, he shouldn't mind WAR or BLU tanks. Heck, at that level practically any melee/WAR can tank if they have the right gear and know what they're doing.
Anyway, if you base your idea of a viable exp target on quick turnover, you'd come to the conclusion that crabs, crawlers, beetles and mandragoras are all terrible exp mobs. High hp, high defense, defensive specials, and that oh-so-annoying dream flower that can stall the fight completely, wasting valuable time and chain bonus.
Yet those exact same mobs are the most popular from about 15 to... 60ish?
PUGs choose their targets for one thing: weak attack. They don't want to face Sickle Slash, Death Scissors, Jet Stream, Condemnation etc. Why? Because if someone screws up, someone could die (not necessarily the same person - although a DD's mistakes often kill himself, a tank or healer's mistake usually kills someone else). Weak attacking mobs are *safer* - they give you more room to make mistakes without killing your party. Their high defense also makes it harder for DDs to pull hate off the tank even if they're stupid - everyone does less damage, but provoke is still just as good. But the best possible exp you can get fighting them isn't very good, because they unavoidably take longer to die than something more fragile.
If you exp on spiders, scorpions, pugils, etc., everyone has to know what they are doing, because a failure of hate control or getting behind on heals at the wrong time or just a poorly-armored tank could lead to a death. But when it does work, it works *well* - monsters with higher attack generally have lower defense or HP, so you can kill them quicker and keep chains alive easier.

Honestly, think.
Take a long hard thoughtfull moment of your life, right now.
Were you REALLY thinking people would know what you were talking about? I suppose I figured at least someone would get it. To be honest, I didn't exactly ask myself whether or not people would grasp the intent. I was just posting in FFXI auto-translation terms like I've seen people do before... that's all. The main problem was that when I had typed out a post explaining the matter further, I hit 'Submit Reply' only to lose my post to a 'This thread has been locked' page. That, coupled with the fact that I had no idea who to ask about the situation since the moderator's name was never given in the 'Locked' information. It was a quite frustrating situation. I didn't, and still don't, see the need for a thread to be locked, even if it is spam. If it's determined spam, I figured it would be deleted. If you lock the spam, it's still there... so there's not really much point. But I now know things are stricter around here than I was aware of, and I can assure you that none of my threads will be taken for spam again.
And I hope not to see any more "if you're not from my server, stop posting" crap, discussions are open to all, unless specified by those who designed and thought out the structure of the forum, which until now has not happened. It was a polite request. The exact wording was "...please don't bother responding...". Of course discussions are open to all. Why else would I have asked for the replies to be limited to Ramuh citizens? However, there's some useful information here that would still be useful coming from someone else. I just didn't want the thread all cluttered.

I am of the same opinion that a spam thread should be deleted instead of locked, but then you'd have ranting people yelling at us for deleting their threads without warning, a locked thread doesnt get deleted, but it dissipates quickly into the pages of threads, and becomes forgotten naturally. But thats a story i'll tell some other day.
In any case, maybe i jumped the gun closing the thread and leaving a .. rude comment, the name of whoever closed the thread and the comment they left is shown on the top of the thread. It's just that things have been somewhat hectic around here as of late, and with so many cases of spammy threads, i'd be surprised if someone with different intentions wouldnt get caught up in the middle, yours wasnt spam per-se, it was just a poorly elaborated thread.
Why is it automatically labeled as spam? because thats a trend with spammers, poorly elaborated threads are usually considered spam.
So anyway, im glad it turned out ok, i shouldve PM'ed or inquired on the thread before closing it, so.. my bad.
