Can you switch the music On & Off?

Open the second menu, and click on "Config" ?fƒRƒ“ƒtƒBƒO?f

click on the first option button, and in the center of the menu, You'll see two large sliders, upper one for sound effects, lower one for BGM, click on the lower bar and use the arrow key to scroll it down to lower/zero the volume.

Much easier is to open FFXI config and just take the tick out of sound.
