Aloha everyone,

Recently I've been contemplating coming back to the game and starting a Samurai. From what I remember, Samurai was a very respectable damage dealer, but I always thought their weaponskills were somewhat lackluster in the 'coolness' department (God I hate myself for saying that) when compared to Dark Knight for example. Is this true or do Samurai's get some very visually pleasing weaponskills of their own? Pathetic as it may be, this would be an important factor in my decision :)

I always liked how SAM WS look... better than most of the DRK ones, but certainly not comparable to Gulitoine or Nightmare Scythe.

Tachi: Gekko, and Tachi: Kasha.

Nothing beats a) spinning through the air or b) flowers coming out of your GKT.

Kaiten's pretty fun :)

But yeah Gekko is always a blast when you get it. Not just cause you're now jumping and a fairly cool graphic design pops out, but it's a very solid WS that you will use constantly for the rest of your SAM career.

Others I enjoyed getting were Jinpuu, and basically each of the 3 kings: Yukikaze, Gekko, Kasha.

I enjoy the sound the great katana makes when it connects a hit. But for WS...Gekko and Kasha are really nice looking. Plus the open/close darkness and light for even more looks.

You can just .dat switch Kaiten....which is what I am doing with Enpi XD

Very true. Trust me, SAM WS's are very boootiful:rolleyes:
Also, you can do a ton of damage, once you hit 60 and are able to sub THF and SATA, you'll blow your own mind away what you can do.
