Why isn't IGE selling WP's?

This is a good way to get yourself baned hear and maby in game aswell. If I were you I would walk, no run away from that thought very fast.

Please don't spam all the WP Requests forms on each server. :worry:

If you must, post on the WP Request forms you want a WP too and after a reasonable time has passed without a responce. For forums reasonable time can be say 4hrs to 2 days. If you don't get a response in that time then bump the Request Forums (Yes they are stickied so they are always at top when people visit that forum section, the bump affects the quickie section were people can pull up new posts).

That should provide you with better luck, but don't try to bump it every second you get. Aside from the Doublepost system kicking in if I recall doubleposts will not bump the message so you have to wait the time till doublepost won't take effect (Which conveniently I think it is 5hrs).

dude it was a joke. I was merely expressing my depression of waiting for 24 hours and still not be able to play. I already did post post on the sticky thread long ago.

Well I want to play on Ragnarok since I've onced played there, but my character is no more. I've already posted in the Ragnarok Thread but no reply yet. I even posted a summary of my history (look at my reg. date). :)

Ok sure. It's just I've already purchased my content ID, then had to several hours on the patcher and then have to wait several days just to even create the character while I'm already paying. Whoever came up with that at SquareEnix ...oh well you know what I want to say

You could always create a character over and over again in the hopes of landing on Ragnarock. It might take a while, and you might never end up there (if someone on Rag has the name you want) but it's better than nothing. :/

If you used to play on Ragnarock, are you sure there isn't anyone you know there that could possibly help you out WP-wise?

He wouldn't get into Ragnarok, the server has been taken out of the rotation due to it's massive population.

It's been almost 2 years and I don't really know who stills play on this server. I've already tried contacting some former friends, but so far no reply :(
I've tried creating a character over and over again, I did it the last time but now they changed the system, so you have to watch the opening cinematic everytime which is quite annoying.
And like Rodin mentioned, the chances off coming to Ragnarok are really slim :(

Well I even did a search on Ebay but nothing. I'd be willing to pay for one since I'm already losing money (note to myself, next time don't purchase content ID before getting a WP).

Any ideas where else I could get a WP? It seems that not so many people visit the Ragnarok Subforum (juding by the post count)

I know it sucks, but my best advice is to just be patient for another day or two.

I had this problem this past week. I've posted in alla server forums, KI server forums, and server forums here. My first post asking for one was about a week ago. I've noticed that a lot of server forums, on any of those sites, doesn't get much attention.

Seriously, even if you've spent your week permitted already a notification to the guy that you'd get him one when your weeks up is something at least. I think it's a bit ridiculous to ask people to do a little song and dance for you to buy a WP for them. Either you'll give them one, or someone else will. Heck, if I were on Rag, I would have long since given this guy one instead of berating him about it.

I am not asking for a song or dance. And i certainly dont need more people into ragnarok specially someone i dont know and may give a bad effect on ragnarok. Which mean what i ask is something reasonable to judge the person deserve my wp or not. As simple as that, if you think you are too lazy or my wp dont deserve the request i made then you dont deserve my wp for sure.

Well I certainly hope the guy gets his WP without having to prove himself to you (or anyone, really). Just based on the posts I've read here he seems like he's not an idiot, and besides, he's one person, so any possible negative effect he might have on the server is pretty negligible.

Then again, maybe he'll just decide to go with another server since apparently he's not up to the standards of those giving out WPs for Ragnarok.

I didn't even realize that the prices fluxuated on those things. Then again, I have only very rarely purchased a WP.

When I returned to the game, I just let it place me where it chose. I didn't have any ties to Bahamut, and I figured going back to my old server as a new character while the folks I knew were all busy with their endgame stuff would just be an excercize in frustration.

:huh: I'm suprised Laksmi is so expensive also. I've been on that server since 4/06(on x-box 360) and have been going to this site many times, and haven't seen too many requests. This has probably been answered but how do I give one to someone if ever asked(do I automatically get one or do we have to always buy them). Also a quick comment:(If one is not sure if anyone they know is still on the server, is there any reason to even need a world pass--are there any real advantages to certin servers over others if there is no-one in partictular that we know)

An answer the poster's question---If you were really concerned with the money(you said you lost your weekend and day off but were getting charged) why wouldn't you at least start on the default server and then change over when a world pass became available.(at least you would be able to play)

Lol i remember when i first started in Japanese beta, and after it got released, i made a new character and invited some other non-japanese people that understood japanese to play. It took me near 2 weeks to get a worldpass (because nobody knew quick and easy ways to make cash, and AH prices were new so it wasn't a reliable source of cash). I ended up just farming bats and rabbits in Ronfeur, and getting about rank 3 fame...then buying san'dorian carrots and selling them to another NPC for more than it cost to make. Not sure if that's possible anymore...but i was so proud to allow 15 people to jump into the new game on the same server when i started. lol.
