Paladin taru Q

I'm wondering about the effectiveness of a Paladin Taru taru with warrior sub. If someone could tell me how well they are able to tank, ect I would be grateful. I asked about this on another board, but i wanted to get more views on it. ^^;

ughh they aren't that bad, not speaking from experience. I'm using a stat calculator. Ughh found here http://ccwf.cc.utexas.edu/~nhart/Status_calculator.htm accoording to the calc at lv 50 tarutaru pal/war has a vit of 51 while a hume at lv 50 pa/war has a vit of 57. So this is kinda up to u. Tanking wise they probably aren't as good as the other races but tarutaru are tankable.

Its viable... tanking wise you'll be fine but you'll need to be more caution about your hps. Being a taru taru you'll have less hps than your hume/elvaan/etc.

We taru melee class's arent ment to be the pure tanks in groups but like KosMos said we ARE TANKABLE and can get the job done when need be. We're more support and work best with another tank in the party and healer.

I couldnt speak on behalf of those taru paladin/warriors but as a paladin/WhM taru I can tank pretty darn well. Instead of taunts I usually use the occasional cure spell, it gets the job done and the mob sticks on me big time. Everyonce inwhile I do die cause ive managed to get sOO much hate the others couldnt pull the mob off me.

Ive been praised on how well I can get the job also ...but man I sure look cute.. OHh so SEKSIE! The women are all over him. /em flex's in front of mirror in mog house.

Im sure the paladin/warrior can do just as good of a job as I can.

Don't let anyone discourage you from playing what you want. When you play ask yourself one simple question.

Am I having fun?

For me.. that answer is yes. Whatever you choose Helm, I hope you have fun as well as all the others who currently play or are going to play.

Although i do want to be a Tarutaru i don't have to be one. Do you know if i could be a Paladin/monk (yay extra hp) and still pull hate away from my PT members? I'm also kind of interested in how other races fare as paladin/(enter sub here) ^^; Please help!

Without warrior, you lose taunt. I believe paladins have something to draw hits, but its not nearly as effective as taunt.

Ughh doesn't casting cure cause hate? So then the monsters would be attacking the one that cast the spell? I think that is just as effective.

I can usually get more hate than a warrior using taunt by spaming my cure spells. I wouldn't advise it though, unless you have faith in your white mage or have a death wish.
