New person needs help!

Hello

I am new to ff online i have bought the vana'diel collection and after many hours of installing and such i have been put on the server alexander. I have a lot of questions and need help :(

Hope i can get some answers here.

- First i had trouble with my graphics as they dont seem to look the best.
- After installing ffxi and the 2 expansions and go into the game viewr i see ffxi and tetra mania some card thing lol dunno if the expansions are installed or not???
- controlls seem really weird but i guess theres some place were i can change them to what i want?????

If anyone here can become friends or add me to msn it would be great my msn is josh_alexander50 at hotmail.com (josh_alexander50@hotmail.com) and im totoally lost BUT i am a fast learner as i have played lots of mmo rpgs but this one seems way differnt.
all those points above i would like to get some sort of answer to :)

from your start menu, go into playonline > FFXI > FFXI config. That's where you can set your resolution and other stuff

After installing expansion, you also need to register them. In the screen before you hit <Play>, look for button that says "content ID" And you'll see menu to register on the right.
