What is digging (well, I know what digging is... >.> ) but like, how can I do it? I've never heard of it before.

i cant do it personally, but u use a chocobo and u can dig up logs when u use the dig command. i was talking to someone doing it yesterday in la thaen ( i cant spell) he said u get about 10 to 15k a log

I assume you mean chocobo digging? It's another H.E.L.M like activity, though it's different in some ways. The basic idea is, you ride a chocobo around the world and prompt it to dig by feeding it a ghysal green. Depending on the area, and your Chocobo Digging skill, you can collect various items.

If you used the search function for these forums, you'd have spotted that there are already a couple of threads with information. The links posted above are pretty good, not 100% accurate, but close enough to get someone started. A word of advice, Ramuh is packed with diggers and there is a digging LS which carries heavy competition, especially in 3 of the biggest money-maker locations.
