Japanese to English Translation

Hello Guys! Is there any existign Translation of FFXI from Japanese to English?? And how much of the game is in English ??? Can you play it without Japanese Language known or not ?????

There are screen shot translation of the game floating around the site and forums. The game graphics are generally in English, but most things are in Japanese if it can be controlled by system text. As for how much Japanese you need to know to play the game, the more the better. The less you know about Japanese, the more effort and trouble and patients you will need to work with the game software and the game itself.

At certain points, some common sense about computers and MMORPGs (and its gameplay) tend to help allow you to get an idea of what a dialog, prompt, or message say based on the situation.

Furthermore, without Japanese knowledge (or translated guides/instructions) doing quests and missions are close to nigh impossible.
